Recent Incident
Dear Impact Community:
We were recently made aware of allegations against a coach, and you may have heard some rumors about it. We take these reports very seriously and have taken immediate action, including,
-
engaging an independent team to investigate the situation,
-
notifying our own governing body, GEVA/USAVB, and
-
reporting the allegations to the U.S. Safe Sport, which provides a centralized, secure method for reporting misconduct.
The coach in question is no longer engaged by Impact, and we will fully cooperate with any investigations into this matter.
Impact athletes are important to us and we want to ensure they have resources available to help them process the complicated feelings they may have as a result of these allegations. Please contact us if you or your family needs further assistance, we have provided resources to free mental health services for those who may need it, the links are listed below.
You probably have a number of additional questions and, frankly, so do we. But we have shared all the information that we have at this time. It’s critical that the investigative team have an opportunity to do their important work and we will share updates as soon as we have more information to provide.
Thank you for the trust you place in us to work with your children and please know we take that responsibility very seriously.
